Management Computer Services, Inc. (MCS) is now offering
PHA-Web, an Internet based software for housing authorities.
The Inspection Manager is a component of
PHA-Web.
The Inspection Manager assists the housing authority inspectors
in performing inspections for both the Public Housing and Section 8 Programs.
The Inspection Manager allows for the creation of custom
inspection forms that meet the housing authority's needs. Provided with the
Inspection Manager is a sample inspection forms for both
Public Housing and Section 8.
The Inspection Manager utilizes the Tablet PC, which takes
advantage of the latest technology in portable devices. The Tablet PC is capable
of working as both a handheld device and a workstation. Inspection results
may be entered directly into the Tablet PC as the examination of the unit is performed.
The data can then be uploaded to PHA-Web and completed
inspection forms can be printed.
Custom letters for inspection notifications, results and other correspondance to
tenants and landlords are provided through the Letter Manager
component of PHA-Web.
